NOTICE:
The following message was received from the Waupaca County Highway Dept.  The Town of Lind follows Waupaca County Highway Dept's dates and weight limit restrictions on all Town of Lind roads.  


PRESS RELEASE
Casey Beyersdorf, Highway Commissioner for Waupaca County Highway Department has announced that spring weight limit restrictions will begin Monday, March 10, 2025 at 12:01 a.m. When the highways become firm, the spring weight restrictions will be lifted. 
Permit forms, maps and additonal informatino can be found at waupacacounty-wi.gov in the left toolbar.  The seasonal weight restriction will be six ton load for a single axle vehicle and ten ton load for a tandem axle vehicle. 
These spring weight limitations will be enforced pursuant to Section 349.16 of the Wisconsin Statutes. 
We request all parties involved to abide by these limits in order to protect and preserve the structural capacities of the County Truck Highway System.  If you have questions about the spring weight limit restrictions, please see our website or contact the Highway Department at 715-258 -7152.
